January-April!

#1: MOTIVATION CLASS
We are always trying to find ways to keep the sutdents motivated.. We arrange for Stahli Catering to bring in lunch and have at least 3 guest speakers to come every year and talk with the students and tell them some of their experiences! This year we invited Shelly Scholisen who is a graduate from our 1985 class, she came and shared with us some memories of hair school and also how she has been able to be successful with her shop in her home. Katie Christensen was also one of our guests this year, she is a graduate from our 2008 class and is working at a salon and spa locally in St. George. Kaite did an awesome job telling the students how it really is in the "real" world and how real people are. For the last 4 or so years we have invited Russ Newby to come and share from his point of view as a client in the chair. What an amazing speaker and a major eye opener to most of the students to see how the client REALLY feels about sitting in that chair! The students really have enjoyed this class that we do!
#2: Easter Eggs Hunt!
What is Easter without an egg hunt? we hide eggs that contain, prizes, money or just candy.. the girls enjoyed this little extravaganza!
#3: MARCH MADNESS
Whitney was the winner this year.. she walked away with a good pocket full of change!
#4: 100%
Justin told the girls if they got 100% on their tests he would buy them breakfast.. guess he didn't think they would do so well!
#5: WHAT HAPPENING AROUND THE SCHOOL!
#6: BRAIDED UP-DO'S
We like to spice things up with not only an up-do contest but the whole thing has to be done with braids

#7: EXTENSIONS
In the last year or so we have offered hair extensions.. Justin teaches the class
#8: STUDENTS
This is the result of students getting a hold of the camera!

I recall that it was called an Evan's Egg Hunt not Easter Egg Hunt.

But I may be wrong.
